Role within the NCLM wellness initiative: Project Manager Education: David holds a degree in Journalism, has completed Post-Secondary Studies in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the State’s Public Managers Program.
Previous or Current Work Experience: He spent his career in the North Carolina Department of Justice, the last 16 years as Director of the Criminal Justice Standards Division. Upon retirement in 2000, he served as Chief Operations Officer for the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners until 2003. He provides consulting services to both private and public sector groups and is principal in David D. Cashwell and Associates, Consulting Services for Public Policy and Law Enforcement.
Honors or Noteworthy Achievements: During his career in the Attorney General’s office, he was involved in many professional associations at the State and National level. During this time he was elected to various officer positions and served as President of the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST). He has managed numerous statewide projects for criminal justice and served as National Project Director for the Judicial/Legislative Outreach Program of the Motor Carrier Division of the U.S. Department of Transportation. While with the Board of Dentistry Mr. Cashwell performed management and leadership duties commensurate to those in the Department of Justice. Additionally, he worked extensively on legislative issues and represented the Board at the national level where he served as Executive Director of the Coalition of Independent Testing Agencies (CITA). He is a graduate of the FBI Academy’s MINI Law Enforcements Executive Directors Programs.

- Primary Investigator for a $100,000 grant for state health plan employees 2008-2009. - Primary Investigator for a $95,000 grant from the Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation. The project trains teenagers to be exercise and health mentors for younger children at the Pitt County Boys and Girls Club

Previous or Current Work Experience: Former trainer, Department Manager and Deputy Director with the North Carolina Justice Academy. Currently Assistant Professor and Director of Criminal Justice Training at Pfeiffer University.

Role within the NCLM wellness initiative: Law enforcement consultant and Eastern District Coordinator Education: BSS Police Science, Campbell College, Graduate FBI National Academy, Graduate Executive Development Program Institute of Government, UNC-Chapel Hill. Previous or Current Work Experience: NC Police Chief, retired, NC law enforcement officer 30 years and currently, owner Galcon, LLC providing law enforcement consulting to local governments and private organizations. Instructor for the Sandhills Community College Criminal Justice Program, and conducts security clearance investigations for the United States Office of Personnel Management. Honors or Noteworthy Achievements: Past President, North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police, Former Executive Board Member, International Association of Chiefs of Police, Former Chair, Patrol and Tactical Operations Committee, International Association of Chiefs of Police. Former member of the Ethics Committee and Homeland Security Committee, International Association of Chiefs of Police. Past President, Southern Pines Rotary Club. Past Chair and current Campaign Chair, United Way of Moore County.
Role within the NCLM wellness initiative: Direction and quality assurance for onsite assessments and counseling. Education: BA, Biology, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. MS, Foods and Nutrition Science, Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC Previous or Current Work Experience: CEO, Health & Sport Works, managing a corporation of 175 health, fitness and wellness providers in multiple locations throughout the Southeast since 1989. Chief of Clinical Nutrition, Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, NC responsible for quality assurance and service in nutrition screenings, intervention and education, managing a team of 85 department staff. Teaching and Research Assistant, Winthrop University. Honors or Noteworthy Achievements: Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association, Past Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year in North Carolina, Past President North Carolina Dietetic Association.

Education: BS Business Administration, North Carolina State University Previous or Current Work Experience: With over 9 years of marketing and sales experience Mrs. Finger has an extensive background in providing marketing and customer support in the healthcare field. Prior to joining BioSignia, she served in several account management positions for medical equipment and pharmaceutical companies where she specialized in creating and executing marketing plans geared towards the medical professional. This experience uniquely positions Mrs. Finger to provide BioSignia’s channel partners with both the tools and industry knowledge to most effectively utilize BioSignia’s technologies.
